As of 6th December we are beginning to see that some customers both in the UK and Internationally are experiencing delayed deliveries. This is due to increased demand on service providers as is usual at this time of year and the fact that workforces are stretched due to people being required to isolate.
Please be assured that all orders we receive will continue to be despatched within 1-3 working days, subject to availability via our Standard Royal Mail 48 hour tracked service, as they usually are. You will receive a tracking number once we have despatched your items. If you wish to upgrade your postage you can do so at the checkout however, at this time we are unable to guarantee that it will be delivered in the "usual" time stated for that service. Our advice at this busy time of year, which has the additional complication of Covid-19, is to make sure that you buy gifts in plenty of time.

In these unprecedented times, we just wanted to update you with the steps we have taken here at The Hot Water Bottle Shop to reinforce your confidence at this time of uncertainty.
Currently, it is business as usual and we are taking the necessary precautions and working in line with the Government's guidelines to ensure the health and well being of our customers and staff. We have implemented the following measures:
- The majority of our office staff are continuing to work from home where possible
- We have implemented additional hygiene measures (heavily focused around handling your orders and products) for the safety of our customers
- Our delivery partners continue to keep in place practices which remove the need for direct contact between both parties
